Qualifications

  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung als Barista mit Fähigkeiten in Kaffeezubereitung.

  • Vorbereitung und Servierung von hochwertigen Getränken, insbesondere Kaffee.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Beverage Preparation and Quality Control
  2. - Prepare and serve high-quality beverages at the Coffee bar, especially coffee and espresso-based drinks, tea, and non-coffee options.
  3. - Ensure consistency in beverage preparation by following standardized recipes and SOPs.
  4. - Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks to maintain product excellence.
  5. Team Leadership
  6. - Manage, train, and mentor barista staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  7. - Schedule shifts and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  8. - Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  9. Customer Service & Hospitality
  10. - Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  11. - Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests.
  12. - Ensure that the team is delivering the best possible experience.
  13. Inventory Management
  14. - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed.
  15. - Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent shortages and manage waste.
  16. Equipment Maintenance
  17. - Ensure all coffee-making equipment is clean, well-maintained, and functioning properly.
  18. - Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate repairs as necessary.
  19. Health and Safety Compliance
  20. - Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  21. - Train staff on proper hygiene practices and equipment safety.
  22. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Workflows
  23. - Develop and implement SOPs for beverage preparation, cleaning, and inventory management.
  24. - Create workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency, ensuring all staff are trained and compliant.
  25. - Regularly review and update SOPs as needed to adapt to changes in the café environment or industry standards.
  26. Team Collaboration
  27. - Foster a collaborative work environment by encouraging open communication among team members.
  28. - Organize team meetings to discuss challenges, share feedback, and celebrate successes.
  29. - Promote a culture of support and teamwork to enhance employee morale and performance.
  30. Reporting and Administration
  31. - Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance.
  32. - Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the café.
Working Hours:

Mon-Fri only, closed on public holidays.

10am - 5pm, 5 days a week, up to 37 hours/week.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of coffee/barista experience.
  • Able to calibrate espresso and filter coffee to specifications & standards.
  • Able to do intermediate to advanced latte art to standards.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Possess the mandatory Basic Food Hygiene Certificate for food handling.
  • A positive work attitude and a team player, excelling in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and job title will depend on your experience as a barista (specifically) and F&B experience (in general), and ability to handle job duties assigned.
