Job Purpose

The purpose of a "Head of Department" (HOD) in Air Specialized Vehicle (ASV) is to oversee and manage all aspects of the deaprtment\'s operations to ensure the efficient and effective servicing of vehicles across the workshops. HOD has a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfactory, safety, and profitability within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of automotive technicians, service advisors, and support staff. Provide guidance, set performance expectations, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by overseeing the quality of service, addressing customers\' concerns or complaints, maintaining open lines of communication with customers and meeting contract KPIs.
  • Monitor work progress and make adjustments to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the service facility to create a safe and professional environment.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in automotive or related field is preferred.
