Job description

Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret project requirements to develop effective execution plans for component design, system component selection, and design specifications

  • Develop detailed electrical control schematics for automated equipment

  • Design 2D and 3D layouts, including electrical panel arrangements and cable routing diagrams

  • Prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for equipment

  • Ensure the integration of safety considerations into designs in compliance with applicable local regulations and standards

  • Conduct debugging, testing, and optimization of existing products to enhance performance and reliability

  • Deliver technical support both in-house and on-site, including preparation of technical documentation and facilitation of training sessions

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering

  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, E3 and Altium Designer

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in control panel design is essential

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in design accuracy and dimensional specifications

  • Solid knowledge of control components, with the ability to select appropriate components based on project requirements

  • Experience in PLC control system design, programming and testing is a plus

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, including direct interaction with customers to define and refine technical specifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively to team discussions and project meetings
