Job Description & Requirements


As a Hangar Assistant, you will support Aircraft Technicians in aircraft maintenance tasks and ensure the hangar remains clean, organized, and operational. You will work under the direction of the Manager or Crew Chief to assist with various maintenance-related activities.


Part A - Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties both inside and outside the aircraft during maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized hangar environment.
  • Assist in moving and positioning aircraft ground support equipment (GSE).
  • Conduct minor paint touch-ups, including screws and fasteners, using brushes.
  • Follow all safety regulations and maintenance protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Support the maintenance team with general tasks as required

Part B. Required Experience, Competencies & Qualifications

  • Minimum ITE holder, GCE ‘O’ Level, or a qualification in Aerospace Engineering.
  • Scissor and Boom Lift certification is preferable.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of Base Maintenance activities would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
