Job summary

Soitec is seeking a Production Quality Technician to ensure the quality and timely output of production equipment and processes. You will manage equipment performance, monitor process stability, and support safe, efficient manufacturing of wafers in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires handling SOPs, routine checks, and improvements to SOPs while maintaining 5S standards and safety practices. Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant lab experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical or Science Discipline or related field – Fresh graduate.
• Higher NITEC – Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment in assigned area.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure product quality.
• Execute operations per SOP and prevent non-conformance/wafer scrap.
• Monitor and expedite production lots; manage WIP to meet daily outputs.
• Ensure 5S standards and clean room protocols are followed.
• Train Manufacturing Assistants up to Level 2 and certify mastery.
• Record shift events and maintain inventory records.
• Propose SOP improvements and ensure policy compliance.
