Job summary

Recruit Expert Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on technician to assemble and commission production equipment, including mechanical structures, electrical components, vision systems, AOI and tape-and-reel lines. You will perform machine setup, alignment, calibration and on-site troubleshooting.

You will also prepare machine kits, monitor parts inventory, and coordinate with vendors for components. The role involves local and overseas assignments to diagnose and resolve equipment issues in

Qualifications

• NITEC in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in automation, mechanical or electrical equipment in semiconductor or precision manufacturing environments.
• Familiar with servo motors, sensors, pneumatic systems and automated machinery; experience with vision systems, AOI or motor tuning.
• Able to interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings and demonstrate strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and assembly skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and commission production equipment and machine modules, covering mechanical structures, electrical components, vision systems, AOI and tape-and-reel equipment.
• Perform machine setup, mechanical and optical alignment, calibration and functional checks, including troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues.
• Provide hands-on technical support at customer sites when required, including local and overseas assignments, to diagnose and resolve equipment-related problems.
• Prepare and manage machine kits, including assembly, functional testing, verification and certification activities.
• Monitor engineering parts and consumables inventory, arrange component purchases/collection, and coordinate with external vendors or subcontractors as required.
