Job summary

NUSX Labs is the AI team at NUSX, building a unified layer to connect research workflows. You will own connectors and AI‑assisted workflows end to end: build, test, ship to real users, and keep them running.

In this role, you will ship features that customers actually use, work directly with a technical lead, and present outcomes to senior leadership. AI tools like Claude Code will be part of daily work, requiring fast, surgical use.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands‑on software engineering, data integration or automation work.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node and in REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth and SQL/Postgres.
• Have shipped at least one feature or workflow that uses an LLM API (classification, extraction, agents, or RAG).
• Strong testing habits (integration/contract tests) and clear documentation.
• Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
• Able to translate vague user pains into working software.
• Degree or diploma in a technical field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own connectors and AI‑assisted workflows end to end: build, test, ship and run.
• Ship real features to real users, not just demos or internal tools.
• Collaborate with technical leads and present work to senior leadership.
• Work closely with non‑technical users to surface and solve problems.
• Maintain security and quality through contract tests and robust docs.
