Introduction:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome all incoming guests, confirm their reservations, and escort them to their assigned tables.
  • Manage guest reservations and assist with private events, ensuring all preferences are noted and met.
  • Provide timely, attentive service by delivering food and beverages and maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Recommend menu items and beverages, using extensive knowledge of the menu to enhance the dining experience.
  • Coordinate with the team to maintain the restaurant's ambiance, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
  • Provide a daily roll-up of reservations to the team, highlighting special requests, large parties, and VIP guests.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, or requests, ensuring an excellent experience from arrival to departure.
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism, ensuring concerns are resolved efficiently.
  • Ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams for efficient service.
  • Assist in managing the guest waiting list and resolve any seating issues as they arise.
  • Stay informed about restaurant promotions, seasonal menus, and events to offer guests an engaging experience.
  • Support the management team in training and mentoring junior front-of-house staff.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with 7rooms or other reservation system
  • Experience in pre-opening operations is a bonus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Consistent track record of employment in hospitality-related role
