Group Reporting Manager (IFRS | Maritime)

We are partnering with a multinational group to appoint a Group Reporting Manager (IFRS) in Singapore. This position sits at the heart of the finance function, combining technical accounting leadership with hands on group reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the group’s financial reporting framework, ensuring policies and practices remain aligned with IFRS.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex accounting treatments, drafting clear papers for management and auditors.
  • Oversee consolidated reporting across multiple business units, producing timely financial results for senior leadership and regulators.
  • Monitor developments in accounting standards and translate these into practical application for the business.
  • Support ad-hoc projects where financial structuring or reporting considerations play a key role.
  • Strengthen reporting controls and governance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar) with minimum 5 years solid post-qualification experience.
  • Strong grounding in IFRS, either from professional practice or a technical accounting/financial reporting role in industry.
  • Previous involvement in group consolidation and multi-entity reporting.
  • Sector exposure in asset-heavy or global businesses.
  • A mix of detail orientation and clear communication skills.
  • Self motivated, organised, and capable of managing tight reporting deadlines.
