Anglo-Eastern offers a rare opportunity to join the management team of an industry powerhouse with a family feel. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Processes & Systems Manager to join our Group Accounts team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems, particularly with NetSuite, and will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations, project implementations, and system architecture design.
Main Responsibilities:
- System Architecture Design: Contribute to the design and architecture of financial systems for financial reporting, management reporting and financial planning & analysis, ensuring they integrate effectively with other functional systems, such as Human Resources SuccessFactors, SAP Concur to streamline operations and data flow.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to Group Account team of system enhancements and automations, including but not limited to financial reporting (multi-book, fixed assets/lease accounting, forex accounting, accounts receivable and payables, etc), finance operations (invoicing, host-to-host).
- System Implementations: Lead and support system implementations and upgrades, ensuring successful deployment of financial systems and best practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements related to financial systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy such as standardising finance processes/system usage across the Group.
- Data Analysis Tools Set Up: Support Group Accounts team in the establishment of system tools/ reports to analyze financial data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
- System Management: Maintain and optimize financial systems (NetSuite, JustPerform) to ensure seamless integration, functionality, and alignment with business needs.
- Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for employees on effective and efficient use of financial systems, ensuring users understand system functionalities, including generating financial reports.
- Data Management: Support Group Accounts team in the automation, control and maintenance of financial data related such as Chart of Accounts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with different business units such as Accounts, Human Resources, IT teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with business objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/ Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experiences with NetSuite, AND/OR other financial systems.
- Strong understanding of system architecture design and integrations with other functional systems.
- Experience in project management, particularly in system implementations and upgrades.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Positive and proactive attitude toward problem solving.
- Experience with UAT (User Acceptance Testing), handling both in-house and external systems like NetSuite would be a plus.
- Ability to identify/control weaknesses and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in financial reporting and data analysis is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Have a good understanding of interconnected systems workflow.
