Job summary

The Clermont Group, a Singapore-headquartered international business group, seeks an experienced Financial Controller for its Group Finance team. You will manage capital planning, capex budgeting, and cashflow forecasting across Opcos within a multi-entity structure.

The role demands a strong technical accounting foundation, Chartered Accountant certification, and 10–15 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 exposure. Based in Singapore, travel regionally is expected.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant qualification required.
• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, Big 4 preferred.
• Experience in group finance / multi-entity environments.
• Strong capital management, capex planning, and cashflow modelling skills.
• Familiarity with SFRS/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Willing to travel regionally and internationally.
• Hands-on business partner with strong leadership and communication.
• Discretion and high integrity in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as finance business partner to Opcos and Finance Heads, guiding performance.
• Collaborate on group strategy, financial planning, budgets, forecasts and models.
• Develop a capital management framework, capex planning, and liquidity management.
• Monitor rolling Group Cashflow Projection for capital allocation decisions.
• Support treasury, bank facilities, cash pooling, and FX exposure management.
• Provide finance support for M&A activities as needed.
• Maintain governance and internal controls across the Group and Opcos.
• Identify financial risks and governance gaps, reporting to CFO and Board.
• Oversee consolidated reporting aligned with SFRS/IFRS and regulatory rules.
• Lead external audits and manage auditor relationships.
• Standardise policies, reporting frameworks, and procedures.
• Tax optimisation and liaison with authorities and advisers.
• Prepare management reports and board-ready financial packs.
