Job summary

SATS Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager to join the Group and Statutory Reporting team in Singapore.

You will act as the technical accounting advisor, drive consistency in financial reporting, and support group consolidation for subsidiaries and joint ventures. You will also lead the rollout of updated accounting standards, review monthly submissions, and assist with SGX announcements and Temasek reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum 5–9 years in financial reporting, group consolidation, or technical accounting.
Big 4 or mid-tier audit background advantageous.
Strong knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS.
Experience with OneStream or similar EPM systems is a plus.
Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical accounting subject matter expert, providing guidance to business units and subsidiary finance teams on complex or non-routine transactions.
Partner with external advisors to perform Purchase Price Allocation assessments for newly acquired subsidiaries.
Revamp and enhance the Group Accounting Policy manual and ensure alignment with updated standards.
Lead rollout and implementation of new accounting standards across all group entities.
Review monthly financial submissions and reporting packages from subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures for group consolidation.
Prepare or review group-level consolidation journal entries on a rotational basis.
Support the preparation of group consolidated financial statements, SGX announcements, Temasek reporting and other ad hoc reporting.
Support OneStream Centre of Excellence, including reviewing user access rights and coordinating with consultants on system enhancements.
Review statutory financial statements prepared by GL team for Singapore-incorporated entities to ensure compliance.
