Job summary

SD Legal is seeking a senior compliance professional to support the Head of Compliance in KYC, AML, sanctions, investigations, privacy and policy. The role involves working with senior leaders worldwide, including Asia-based teams, to design, develop and implement commercial contracts, frameworks, and processes.

You will support daily requests and contribute to mid-term strategic goals, ensuring risk tolerance levels are respected.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in compliance/legal or related field.
• Strong technical/compliance background with overlap to legal/commercial issues.
• Experience in MNCs or complex matrix organizations.
• Superior stakeholder engagement across multiple Asia-based countries and with overseas offices.
• Fast-paced environment and readiness to join a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Compliance in KYC, Trade, AML, Sanctions, Investigations, Privacy and Policy.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to provide compliance support on transactions and product distribution; contribute to contracts, frameworks, policies and processes.
• Address daily business requests while aligning with mid-term strategic goals and risk tolerance.

Client = US listed MNC, operating globally and with key hub offices in Singapore, Dubai, London and New York. You will be joining an established legal and compliance function in Asia which is dual headquartered in Singapore and London.

Job Description

• You will support the Head of Compliance in key areas such as KYC, Trade, AML, Sanctions, Investigations, Privacy and Policy.
• You will work with senior business leaders from around the world, offering compliance support on areas such as transactions and product distribution. This will also focus on the design, development and implementation of commercial contracts, frameworks, policies and processes.
• You will support the business with daily requests, as well as ensuring mid-term strategic goals are considered alongside business appropriate risk tolerance levels.
• The role is seen as critical to business success and will offer exposure to key stakeholders in Asia and around the world.

Requirements

• 7 - 12 years (guideline)
• You will come from a strong technical / compliance background, ideally with overlap to legal / commercial issues.
• You will have MNC / complex matrix organizational experience
• You will possess superior stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across multiple Asia based countries, and interactions with overseas colleagues / offices.
• Fast paced environment and ready to be part of a growing team.
