We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Group Chief Financial Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in in providing financial leadership and driving financial performance, capital market readiness, investor relations and advocating corporate governance for the entire Group. This position is overseeing all financial operations and will lead strategic financial planning, risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate finance functions, ensuring public company’s standards alignments. The Group CFO will ensure that the Group’s financial systems, controls, and policies support long-term growth and compliance while providing strategic insight to the executive leadership team and board.

1.Strategic Leadership

  • Provide comprehensive, long-term financial vision, robust internal controls, and manage financial risks.
  • Lead the Group and post-IPO financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Provide commercial and financial insights to the Group’s CEO and Board of Directors for informed decision-making.
  • Support Group-level strategic planning, including business expansion, partnerships, and capital structure optimization.

2.Financial Planning and Control

  • Oversee Group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Lead the development and implementation of finance policies, controls, and procedures across business units.
  • Drive financial performance through analysis and continuous improvement of financial processes.

3.Reporting and Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial reports and statutory compliance across the Group.
  • Supervise audit activities and liaise with external and internal auditors.
  • Maintain compliance with tax regulations and other legal financial obligations.

4.Treasury and Cash Management

  • Oversee the Group’s treasury functions including cash pooling, liquidity management, and foreign exchange risk.
  • Optimize capital structure and ensure effective allocation of financial resources across entities.

5.Investment, M&A, and Capital Markets

  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as funds, investors, and analysts to maintain strong relationships.
  • Navigate capital markets, including pricing and positioning the group.
  • Play a leading role in fund-raising activities and prepare the Group for potential IPO readiness.

6.Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across subsidiaries to ensure a high-performance culture.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between finance and other departments.

Qualifications:

a. Education

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/ACCA preferred.

b. Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven experience working with private equity, investment funds, and investors.
  • Strong network within international capital market ecosystem, preference
  • Prior involvement in IPO preparation or listing is highly advantageous.
  • Deep financial acumen with strong knowledge of financial modeling, IFRS, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on execution mindset
  • Good understanding of Singapore financial regulations, SGX rules and corporate governance
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience navigating in a multi-entity or multinational corporate structure is preferred.
