Job Role Summary
Responsible for leading and managing POKKA Group, setting its strategic direction, executing the strategy together with CxOs to achieve both financial and non-financial goals as well as sustainable growth of the company.
Area of Responsibility
Strategy And Direction
- Set-up the clear organization's vision, mission, and strategic goals for POKKA Group aligned with SAPPORO Group policies.
- Set clear strategy, target/direction by markets, by category, by organic/non-organic, and by speciality with the range of both Short-term and Long-term perspective.
- Have open-minded/flexible attitude for the change of Strategy and Direction when necessary or need to be revised.
Financial Management
- Implement of ROIC (Return Of Invested Capital) management and make it penetrate into the whole organization.
- Achieve the financial goals on PL indicators and ROIC indicator.
- Re-distribution of available and limited resources, or adjust the resources to maximize the financial performance based on the company strategy.
Operational Management
- Establish and maintain effective operational processes and procedures.
- Monitor KPIs to track operational success.
Leadership And Team Management
- Create an appropriate organizational structure to bring out the best performance, communication and culture in the company.
- Provide the opportunity and system always to develop senior leaders capability.
Innovation And Growth
- Maintain high sensitivity of market trend, changes.
- Hold “field-oriented” mind.
- Always keep in “Open New Sky” spirit and demand CxOs the same.
Risk Management And Compliance
- Set clear company policy of Risk Management and Damage control.
- Support identifying potential risks and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that the company and employees comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- High sensitivity in “Quality” as a food/beverage manufacturer.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
Internal
- Every key department, subsidiary.
- Every key department in Sapporo Holdings, Japan.
External
- Key venders which provide advisory/consultancy services. Government authorities (EDB, IRAS, MOM, MTI etc.)
Communication Tasks
- Work well with CxO’s directly, GM’s and HOD as well as with all subsidiaries indirectly.
- Work well with HQ in Japan and be the liaison between POKKA Group and Japan. (Highly appreciate if moderate Japanese speaking)
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Extensive executive-level experience.
- Experience in FMCG is a must and preferable in the Beverage industry.
Professional Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of “Financial Statements” (P/L, B/S and C/F)

- Demonstrated ability to work with and manage people/team in a complex, changing environment to delivery value-added results.
- Experience working on or leading cross-functional project teams.
- Problem solver and critical thinker mindset.
- Excellent in negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
