The Group CFO has responsibility for managing financial sustainability, driving financial performance & maximi zing return on investment. The role will provide strategic financial advice to the Board of Directors and will play a pivotal role in formulating future financial strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic finance adviser to the board
- Prepare the finance strategy for the Group in line with Group’s business directions
- Compliance with the SGX listing and continuing obligations
- Managing the Group’s Finance Department (of which include the ultimate and immediate holding companies together with all the operating companies).
- Liaising with auditors, tax authorities, human resources, bankers and corporate secretaries on all matters.
- Review all the Group’s Financial and Consolidated Reports.
- Review and implementation of improvement plans for internal controls procedures.
- Review and execute the Group’s strategies in relation to new developments and operational efficiency within the Group’s businesses.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, master degree or MBA and a qualified CPA with at least 18 years’ post-graduation experience.
- Proven and significant experience and recognized credibility in a similar capacity.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Proven strategic financial planning and execution.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret, extract and analyse financial information.
- High level of commercial acumen and sound decision making abilities.
- Continually striving for improvement via new and effective work practices.
