Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Group Cash Product Manager to lead the development, governance, and commercialization of cash management products tailored for the SME segment. This role is a central pillar of SME Banking and collaborates closely with the Transaction Banking division to drive profitable growth and digital adoption of corporate cash management platforms.

With rapid digitalization transforming cash management and treasury services, this role demands a leader with broad product knowledge, execution experience, and the ability to work at pace across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Business, and Product Execution
  • Act as the Group SME cash product subject matter expert , bridging Country SME teams with Transaction Banking.
  • Co-develop and maintain a suite of SME-relevant cash products, tools, and reference materials for frontline teams.
  • Ensure effective product training and commercialization , including cash deal reviews, to maximize usage and manage FCC/CDD-related risks.
  • Manage pricing strategy across services and regions, balancing competitiveness, interest rate movements, and profitability.
  • Partner with operations and onboarding teams to optimize client onboarding and service delivery processes.
  • Drive digital adoption of the corporate banking platform ( Straight2Bank – S2B ), collaborating with platform developers and digital channel leads to roll out SME-appropriate features.
  • Coordinate with Analytics, Country Product, and Segment teams to deliver targeted campaigns and promotions that boost usage of operating accounts, drive balance growth, and cross-sell FX, Trade, Wealth, and Lending products.
  • Design and maintain management dashboards and reporting tools to track product performance and extract business insights.
Risk Management
  • Oversee effective risk controls for cash products across the SME portfolio, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Conduct regular training and transaction reviews to mitigate operational and financial crime risks, particularly related to FCC and CDD compliance.
Governance
  • Uphold governance of product and business policies aligned with SME Banking strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to both global and local regulatory standards, and contribute to shaping internal product governance processes.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Demonstrate exemplary conduct and act in accordance with the Group’s values and ethical standards.
  • Take ownership of regulatory and compliance responsibilities across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Collaboratively identify, escalate, and resolve risks or conduct-related concerns.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in Cash Product Management or related functions; direct experience in India SME market is preferred; familiarity with South Asia and AME markets is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of cash management products , commercialization, and pricing strategy
  • Experience with financial institutions (FI) or the broader transaction banking space is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing across a complex matrix organization
  • Analytical mindset with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple initiatives
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
