Job description

Highlights:

• Prefer short notice / immediately available

• Must be a member of a professional body in finance

• Basic + AWS + VB

• Manage 2 direct reports: one handling consolidation and the other handling bookkeeping

• Report to CEO

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide key support to the CEO in formulating financial strategies to drive business growth.

• Act as a finance business partner, assisting the CEO in resolving operational issues.

• Prepare and present materials for board director meetings.

• Assume full responsibility for the entire spectrum of financial functions, including:

  • SGX and consolidation reporting

  • Cash flow management

  • Performance analysis

  • Budgeting and taxation

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain appropriate internal control systems to mitigate financial and compliance risks.

• Handle ad-hoc financial requests and manage additional accounting functions or projects as required by management.

• Provide financial oversight for due diligence projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or a member of a professional body in finance

• 2 to 3 years in similar capacity.

• Candidates with prior experience in a listed company will be preferred

• Candidates with prior experience in an audit environment will have an added advantage.

• He/She must be "hands on" and strong in both systems and people skills.

• Dedicated, a team player with interpersonal and effective communication skills.

• Experience in project management with excellent problem-solving and organization skills.

• Self-motivated with leadership qualities.
