Our client is seeking a Group Accountant to join their team!

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established investment company founded in 1970. With over five decades of history, the company has evolved from marine transportation to property development and strategic investments. Their portfolio includes properties and development projects in Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. Listed on the Singapore Exchange since 1983, they focus on sustainable growth and stakeholder value.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial, management, and regulatory reports.
2. Consolidated Reporting: Provide timely group consolidated reports in accordance with IFRS and local standards.
3. Accounting Management: Ensure timely recording of transactions and manage reporting schedules.
4. Tax Compliance: Handle GST submissions, corporate tax, and statutory matters.
5. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with subsidiaries and associates on data requests and queries.
6. Financial Analysis: Investigate anomalies, support budgeting, and analyze reports.
7. Auditor Liaison: Work with auditors and tax agents on financial and tax issues.
8. Team Leadership: Guide and support junior finance team members.

Candidate Profile

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/ISCA certification preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience, with SGX reporting experience a plus.
3. Technical Skills: Knowledge of SFRS and current regulations.
4. IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills for decision support.
