An established industry player is seeking a Group Accountant to support the CEO in driving financial strategies and business growth. In this dynamic role, you will take full responsibility for financial functions, including SGX reporting, cash flow management, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting, 2-3 years of relevant experience, and strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders. The Group Accountant will provide key support to the CEO in formulating financial strategies to support the growth of business operations of the Group. He/She as finance business partnering role and assist CEO in resolving operational issues, including board director’s meeting material preparation and presentation.
He/She will assume full responsibility for the whole spectrum of financial functions, including oversee SGX and consolidation reporting, cash flow management, performance analysis, budgeting and taxation.
The incumbent will ensure compliance with regulatory requirement, appropriate internal control systems are in place to address all financial and compliance risks.
Handle ad hoc financial requests and additional accounting functions or projects as required by management, including provide financial oversight for due diligence project.
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting or a member of a professional body in finance
- 2 to 3 years in similar capacity.
- Candidates with prior experience in a listed company will be preferred
- Candidates with prior experience in an audit environment will have an added advantage.
- He/She must be "hands on" and strong in both systems and people skills.
- Dedicated, a team player with interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Experience in project management with excellent problem-solving and organization skills.
- Self-motivated with leadership qualities.
- Proficiency in both oral and written presentation skills, in both English and Chinese is preferred (to liaise with Chinese associates).
