Job summary

ROBIN VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Group Financial Controller to lead group reporting, consolidation, and project accounting across construction and engineering projects.

You will coordinate with subsidiaries, ensure accurate financial statements, and drive internal controls. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, ACCA/CPA preferred, 5–8 years of accounting experience, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5-8 years accounting experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
• Experience in group consolidation and project accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and group policies.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries to ensure proper accounting treatment and consistency.
• Perform group consolidation, including elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts across group entities.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies between group companies.
• Review project cost recognition, revenue recognition, and work-in-progress (WIP).
• Monitor project profitability and margins.
• Work closely with project and operations teams to ensure accurate project financial reporting.
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis for management.
• Provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Support decision-making through financial insights.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Support annual audit and tax filing processes.
• Maintain strong internal control systems across the group.
• Review and improve accounting processes and financial workflows.
• Guide and support finance team members across subsidiaries.
