Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and responsible Pet Grooming Assistants / Trainees to support our grooming team in both salon and training school environments. This role is ideal for individuals who love animals, have a keen interest in grooming, and are eager to learn and grow in the pet care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist groomers with prepping pets (bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming)
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of grooming tools, stations, and equipment
• Help in calming and handling pets during grooming sessions
• Monitor pet behaviour and report any issues to senior staff
• Manage basic customer service tasks such as greeting clients, answering calls, and scheduling appointments

Grooming School Support:

• Help students with equipment setup, pet handling, and learning activities
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of training areas
• Perform administrative tasks related to student management and class coordination (e.g., attendance, materials preparation)

Requirements:

• Passion for animals and interest in grooming
• Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
• Basic understanding of pet care and grooming (training will be provided)
• Physically fit; able to lift and move animals safely
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and take instructions
• Prior experience in grooming, vet care, or pet services is a plus
