Job summary

Wuxi Biologics Biopharmaceuticals Singapore Private Limited in Singapore is seeking a Utility Engineer / Senior to support utilities and facilities management across project phases. You will own or assist in URS, engineering specs, and maintenance procedures for critical systems like WFI, Clean Steam, HVAC, and cleanrooms.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in utilities/facilities engineering, preferably in pharma/chemical.
• Licensed Electrical Worker status is advantageous.
• Hands-on start-up/greenfield project experience.
• Experience with biopharma facility design, construction, maintenance and operation.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and biopharma processes.
• Familiar with EHS regulations and best practices.
• Experience with BMS and PLC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to package owners in managing Utilities and Facilities-related services, equipment, and systems.
• Take ownership or assist in URS, Engineering Technical Specifications, and Maintenance Procedures for Utilities and Facilities.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of key clean utility systems (WFI, Clean Steam, Clean Air, HVAC, cleanroom).
• Support supplier evaluation and selection processes, ensuring quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and supervise construction and installation works to align with design, safety, and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and facility walk-throughs to identify non-compliances or risks.
• Contribute to Operations Readiness during transition from project phase to steady-state operation.
• Overseas training assignment of 3–6 months may be required.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments as directed.
