Graphic Designer (Typography + Adobe Creative Suite + Graphic Design Principles)

The Marketing Designer (Graphic Designer) position at Assurant-GCC, India involves providing creative and technical support for visual customer communications, including designing, layout, and preparing marketing and business development collateral in both print and digital media. The role also includes learning new approaches, collateral channels, and functional areas to expand support capabilities for various Lines of Business (LOBs). The position is based in Bangalore, Chennai, or Hyderabad.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Strategic Development (15%): Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Solutions from concept to completion, working closely with the Creative Director, Manager, and stakeholders to identify marketing objectives and determine effective creative strategies. Provide design expertise, establish requirements, and meet deadlines.
  2. Graphic Design and Motion Graphics (85%): Demonstrate attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to bring concepts to life through various design mediums. Create designs for print and digital applications using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Microsoft Office. Develop data visualizations, custom graphics, and illustrations, translating complex information into engaging visual assets. Prepare static design concepts and storyboards, ensuring high-quality work that aligns with brand standards. Collaborate with teams and manage projects efficiently using project management tools.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, Motion Designer, or Presentation Designer
  • Strong portfolio showcasing motion/animation skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
  • Proactive, creative, and resourceful
  • Experience in multimedia presentations, video editing, and post-production techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and demonstrate ownership
