Qualifications

Scope of Work

To execute graphic styles to create visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Represent Jamiyah during events managed by Jamiyah or its partners, on regional and international platforms as a Jamiyah Ambassador.
• Compliant with Jamiyah policies, procedures and instructions
• Ensure Jamiyah’s internal affairs and information P&C.
• Conceptualize creative ideas and design to ensure functionality of the Jamiyah’s marketing efforts
• Respond to briefs and develop concepts and designs for branding campaigns, projects’ promotion materials for print and digital communications and meet the desired objectives
• Conceptualize creative ideas and design to ensure functionality of the Jamiyah’s marketing efforts
• Assist Senior Graphic Designer to execute graphic styles for a broad range of print & digital formats (brochure, posters, flyer, social media, etc.)
• Assist in the production of Annual Report, Voices of Islam newsletter, and all other in-house publications
• Follow through with turnkey projects from design to final artwork and production to ensure timely delivery
• Build working rapport and work closely with the various departments to ensure projects are completed smoothly
• Manage in-house printing when required
• To be involved in multiple projects, taking initiative and responsibility over project deliverables
Other related duties as directed by Head of Marcom or Senior Management

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree holder in Professional Graphic Design field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the creative industry in a similar capacity
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Experienced in designing graphics for community events, social services, education and healthcare would be a great advantage
• Strong capacity to learn and retain new concepts quickly
• Ability to design with a clear communication objective in mind
• Strong knowledge and understanding of design principles
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and tight deadlines
