Role Summary:
The Graphic Designer will develop and execute visual designs for packaging, brand assets, and marketing collateral to meet business goals. You’ll collaborate with Marketing to ensure on-brand, consumer-focused creative from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Visual Identity:
· Create impactful visual concepts to communicate ideas and enhance brand identity
· Create and maintain of brand guidelines and apply them consistently across all touchpoints
· Assist in designing logos, typography treatments, and colour palettes for new products.
· Addressing design challenges and incorporating feedback
Packaging Design:
· Create graphic layouts for labels, cartons, shrink wraps, and secondary packaging.
· Work with Brand PICs and suppliers on materials and print specifications to ensure feasibility and quality
Marketing & POS Collateral:
· Design point-of-sale materials (displays, posters, wobblers) and digital assets (websites, social posts, banners, email templates).
· Adapt creative concepts for both print and digital channels.
· Execute concept and creative ideas into videos
· Update and maintain internal database for designs, photography and video
Project Coordination:
· Manage multiple design projects, including new product launches, under tight deadlines and work closely with internal stakeholders for feedback and approvals
· Liaise with external printers and vendors to obtain quotes, review proofs, and ensure timely delivery of materials
Qualifications & Experience:
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or related field
· Keen interest in Design, Art Direction, Photography, Video Production, Branding
· 2–4 years of experience in graphic and/or packaging design, ideally within FMCG
· Portfolio demonstrating strong packaging concepts, branding, and marketing collateral
· Working knowledge of pre-press processes, print production, and packaging materials
Skills & Competencies:
· Visual Design Skills: Understanding of colour theory, typography, layout, and design principle
· Creative Execution: Solid understanding of design principles and brand storytelling.
· Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other design software
· Attention to Detail: Meticulous about layout, typography, and colour consistency with an eye for aesthetic
· Communication: Clear verbal and written skills; comfortable taking direction and presenting ideas. Ability to work effectively with team members.
· Savvy with social media trends and closely in touch with design and colour trends
· Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
