Job Highlights:
  • Office hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 6:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational and secretariat support for a national-level funding initiative, including grant calls, evaluation panels, and stakeholder engagements
  • Execute policies and processes related to funding administration
  • Liaise with research performers and grantees on pre- and post-award matters
  • Communicate funding policies, guidelines, and outcomes to public sector stakeholders
  • Monitor grant progress to ensure KPIs, milestones, and budgets remain on track
  • Support governance and policy efforts by reviewing best practices and refining grant management frameworks
  • Coordinate with internal teams and other agencies on grant-related matters
  • Perform additional administrative or coordination duties as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in public sector governance, policy, or research planning roles
  • Prior experience in grants administration from the grantor’s perspective is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking abilities
  • Meticulous with excellent time management and follow-through
  • Resourceful, independent, and able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Keen interest in research & development policy and governance work
