Job Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational and secretariat support for a national-level funding initiative, including grant calls, evaluation panels, and stakeholder engagements
- Execute policies and processes related to funding administration
- Liaise with research performers and grantees on pre- and post-award matters
- Communicate funding policies, guidelines, and outcomes to public sector stakeholders
- Monitor grant progress to ensure KPIs, milestones, and budgets remain on track
- Support governance and policy efforts by reviewing best practices and refining grant management frameworks
- Coordinate with internal teams and other agencies on grant-related matters
- Perform additional administrative or coordination duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in public sector governance, policy, or research planning roles
- Prior experience in grants administration from the grantor’s perspective is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking abilities
- Meticulous with excellent time management and follow-through
- Resourceful, independent, and able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Keen interest in research & development policy and governance work
