The Graduate Trainee will be under a structured training plan that exposes the trainee to the different departments in G2 Ocean. The role shall work closely with teams such as Operation and Chartering.
The Position reports to a Senior Manager, will supervise and act as primary coach to the role.
The job holder will:
- Be exposed and rotate into different functions of the business during the designated phase of training.
- Participate in fulfilling the commercial responsibilities of the designated trade team including responsibilities assigned to chartering in the Voyage Execution Process.
- Ensure compliance against agreed working practices in all relevant systems supporting the Voyage Execution process.
- Ensure that all data is accurate, valid and complete in a timely manner throughout the Voyage Execution.
The job holder shall be responsible to:
- Support and build customer relations in accordance with company policy and trade targets
- Participate in developing new accounts and market intelligence in the assigned trade
- Monitor and document customer satisfaction
- Register and assist in resolving incidents in accordance with company policy
- Participate in creating and managing core commercial information in our systems

- Monitor/Chase for Payment
- Participate in Post Voyage Activities
- Prepare for Monthly Trade Review Meeting
- Prepare for Monthly Trade Reporting
