Toll/ST Logistics Graduate Program

Job Summary

The Graduate Trainee (Logistics and Supply Chain) is to learn about ST Logistics’ business operations and to prepare and develop themselves for a career at ST Logistics.

Graduates will undergo a structured 2-year cross-functional rotation program (6 months per rotation) to gain comprehensive exposure to key supply chain and logistics functions such as procurement, warehouse operations, distribution, and freight management.

They will undertake a range of responsibilities to gain exposure and experience in various aspects of supply chain operations and core processes such as supply and demand planning and inventory management. They will work alongside an assigned mentor for hands-on training.

Graduates are expected to collaborate with team members and take on assigned projects to implement solutions where applicable.

The role requires analytical and logical skills to explore solutions and analyze the feasibility of plans. They will also coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes and technology, and participate in projects among other activities.

Graduates will be expected to perform business-as-usual activities related to their placement roles and any other duties assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks (External)

Warehousing Operations

• Plan resources within business activities.
• Develop warehouse planning methods, storage, and layout plans.

Business Administration Operations

• Manage stakeholders to monitor the completion of requirements and activities.

Business Process/Continuous Improvement

• Undertake continuous improvement projects related to their assigned areas to demonstrate understanding and add value.

Drive Technology Application and Integration Activities

• Identify areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes.
• Facilitate key activities and milestones in technology projects.

Drive Logistics Solutioning Services

• Develop plans to implement innovative logistics solutions.

Sales and Customer Service

• Support managers in managing key accounts through maintaining close contact with stakeholders.

Freight Operations

• Support management and coordination of all aspects of freight forwarding, including shipping, customs clearance, and delivery.

Manage Green Procurement Activities

• Prepare for and administer tender requirements and liaise with Quality Assurance and Warehouse teams for inputs.

Regulatory and Compliance (Healthcare)

• Implement risk management and risk assessment activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Others

• Undertake any additional projects or duties assigned by management.
