Job summary

ByteDance invites talented graduates to join the Infrastructure Engineering team in Singapore. You will engage in the full lifecycle of services from design to deployment and operation, and contribute to reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure.

Successful candidates should have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related field and familiar with Go, Java, C++, Python. Onboarding date by year-end is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completion or recent completion in Software Development/CS/Engineering.
• Experience in programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
• Support services before they go live through capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Support and maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolve systems for reliability and velocity.
• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.
• Analyse user needs and develop software solutions using computer science and engineering principles.
• Update software and develop testing and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
