Job summary

Suntar International Group in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer (Fresh Graduate) with a background in membrane technology to apply engineering knowledge to water treatment and industrial applications.

You will assist in design and development of RO, UF, NF, MF processes; perform feasibility studies, pilot testing, and performance evaluations; prepare PFDs and P&IDs; conduct mass balances and system analyses; and support project execution from design to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Prior internship in process engineering is advantageous.
• Familiarity with process modeling software (WAVE) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD and P&IDs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of membrane-based treatment processes (RO, UF, NF, MF).
• Support feasibility studies, pilot testing and performance evaluations.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Conduct process modeling, mass balance calculations, and system performance analysis.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to support proposals.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports and customer presentations (from Basic Engineering Design to Detailed Design).
• Ensure compliance with local industry standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of membrane-based treatment processes, including reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration (NF), and microfiltration (MF).

Support feasibility studies, pilot testing, and performance evaluations of membrane systems.

Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and technical specifications.

Conduct process modeling, mass balance calculations, and system performance analysis.

Work closely with other disciplines to support the development in proposals.

Provide technical support for project execution, troubleshooting, and commissioning of membrane systems.

Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and customer presentations. (from Basic Engineering Design to Detailed Design).

Ensure compliance with local industry standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety guidelines.

What we are looking out for:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
