Get to know the Business:
GrabRentals (GR) is a core pillar of Grab’s Mobility business, with the primary objective of securing vehicular and productive driver-partner supply for Grab’s ridehailing marketplace. We strive to be a trustworthy partner that creates income opportunities for our driver-partners by sustainably providing them access to quality assets and innovative tech-driven / data-driven solutions.
Get to know the Team:
The GR team houses its own strategy, pricing & product design, sales, marketing, operations et al. functions, and also works very closely with other teams in Grab spanning business, operations, tech and analytics. The sales team is the front line of our GrabRentals drivers and made up of active and supportive team players with a passion for customer experience and operations.
Get to know the Role:
Develop and implement GrabRental’s customers (hirer-partners) life-cycle strategy, with main focus on acquisition and retention.
On acquisition front:
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to conversion for new and existing hirers.
- Set weekly forecasts/targets and manage the sales team to achieve said targets. Including hiring, training, and development of the team.
- Optimise sales channels through a data driven approach to improve conversion.
- Establish and grow new sales channels to support business growth and expansion.
On retention front:
- Manage the partner engagement team in ensuring smooth daily operations, addressing hirer issues, and handling escalations.
- Conduct review and optimization of existing operational policies and processes to improve customer retention.
- Ensure consistent experience across online and offline touchpoints.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- At least 3 - 5 years of sales, operations, team management and customer service experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required, with local second language as an advantage.
- Self-motivated individual who is capable of getting things done within an allocated time frame.
- Willing to be hands-on as needed and proactively assumes responsibilities for one’s actions.
- Ability to work independently, deal effectively with other related departments or as a team, with minimal supervision.
- Able to initiate and maintain strong relationships with our hirers.
- Strong people skills with a customer-oriented service attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Excel formula and functions, and Google applications preferred.
- High competency in data analytics tools preferred.
