General Description
In this role, the primary responsibilities include shaping and driving the global strategic agenda for Global Products & Solutions (GPS). This entails spearheading strategic growth initiatives that align with the Bank’s overarching strategy, ensuring strong alignment across regions, and based on client demand. You will partner closely with business owners/stewards to identify, assess, and drive new business opportunities, support strategic partnerships and inorganic business opportunities (e.g., M&As, establishment of joint ventures) from a GPS perspective, coordinate cross‑unit collaboration, drive insight generation through robust market and competitor analysis, and support senior management with recommendations and decision‑making. The role will report into the Global Head of GPS Strategy & Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management (Internal & External)
- Drive global strategic growth initiatives that align with the Group’s overall strategic priorities.
- Partner with GPS business owners/stewards to identify, evaluate, and drive new business opportunities and partnerships and outline growth plans.
- Support all GPS teams in project and change management activities.
- Work in close collaboration with Group Strategy and Group Finance to support the end‑to‑end execution of strategic initiatives.
Business Management
- Define and drive the ambitions/objectives of the team in consultation with the Global Head of GPS Strategy & Business Development.
- Synthesise complex data sets and qualitative insights into clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations.
- Support the development and delivery of high‑quality strategy papers, market analyses, and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders across GPS.
- Support strategic partnerships/joint ventures and inorganic business opportunities from a GPS perspective.
- Drive front‑to‑back rollout of new business projects/key initiatives outside of Agile Release Train, ensuring that objectives, ownership, and tangible outcomes are clearly outlined and tracked.
- Monitor emerging technologies, innovations, disruptions, and latest market trends across global markets.
- Provide inputs/updates of GPS for the various management committees.

- Meet all legal, regulatory, and compliance standards/requirements.
- Adhere to the standards and expectations outlined in the relevant user manuals and guidelines.

Professional & Technical
- Demonstrated experience operating in a similar role; experienced team leader with proven track record and leadership experience in the financial industry.
- 10 years or more of private banking knowledge and experience.
- Relevant higher educational and professional background.
- Good command of financial analytical skills.
- Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and a broad understanding of the financial markets and products.
