Job Opportunity: Govt Project Admin (Workforce Development)

Office Hours: Monday to Friday

Location: One-North

Contract Duration: 11 months (Subject to extension)

Are you passionate about workforce development and ready to contribute to impactful national-level projects? A government project team under the Science & Technology sector is looking for a Govt Project Admin to support workforce development initiatives, including awards administration, competency frameworks, and event coordination.

You’ll be joining a dynamic team that supports strategic Human Resource Development efforts across the public sector. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to make meaningful contributions in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.

Role Overview

You will play a key role in supporting workforce capability initiatives by:

  • Managing the full cycle of awards and recognition programmes
  • Assisting with competency framework development through research and data mapping
  • Supporting event planning, vendor liaison, procurement, and team engagement activities

This role involves cross-functional collaboration, independent ownership of tasks, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes with quick turnarounds.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Awards Administration
  • Coordinate end-to-end administration of awards/projects
  • Manage judging logistics, nomination tracking, and timeline milestones
  • Prepare materials and dashboards; draft communications and handle reimbursements
  • Competency & Capability Framework Development
    • Conduct research and benchmarking
    • Validate and map competency data, highlight discrepancies
    • Digitise data and track consultations and development milestones
  • Programme & Event Support / Vendor Coordination
    • Plan and execute events such as HR/Technical Leader sessions, award panels, and ceremonies
    • Coordinate with vendors and handle procurement documentation
    • Provide photography support and assist with post-event publicity and write-ups
    • Support team engagement and onboarding resource development
