A leading company seeks an Operations Manager to drive improvements across finance and procurement functions while enhancing team engagement initiatives. The role demands 5+ years of experience in operations management and requires strong stakeholder management and critical thinking. This 12-month contract offers a dynamic work environment where you will directly influence operational efficiencies and team culture.
Working Location: Labrador Park
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8.30am to 6pm, Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Contract Duration: 12 months
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic & Administrative Operations
· Drive operational improvements and process efficiency across the division
· Manage core administrative functions of 3 Directors including:
o Finance and procurement operations
o Asset and inventory management
o Documentation and records
o Travel and expenses
o Vendor relationships
· Streamline end-to-end procurement and finance processes to enable quick team access while maintaining accountability
· Resolve finance/procurement issues and implement improvements based on user feedback
· Monitor process metrics and user behaviour to optimise finance and procurement experience and operations
· Work with internal stakeholders and coordinate with legal, procurement, finance and audit teams for compliance and reconciliation
· Plan and run initiatives to improve finance & procurement tools, policies, and practices to help teams run more effectively in the Division.
· Provide data-driven insights to support management decision-making
Culture & Team Engagement
· Design and execute team-building initiatives and social activities
· Plan and manage divisional events and off-site functions
· Create programmes to strengthen organisational culture
· Maintain an inspiring work environment
· Drive employee engagement initiatives
Facility & Event Management
· Oversee facility operations and maintenance
· Manage meeting logistics and venue bookings
· Coordinate calendar events and scheduling of assigned Directors
· Handle event documentation and vendor coordination
Job Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience in operations management, with significant exposure to finance and procurement
· Track record of implementing process improvements and digital transformations
· Experience in stakeholder management across multiple functions
· Background in data analysis and reporting
· Proven planning and organisational abilities
· Experience in culture building and event planning
· Critical thinking with attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
