Job description

We are looking for an experienced and resourceful professional to join us as an Assistant Director (Business Planning). This role focuses on leading corporate services and business support functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and implementing initiatives that improve efficiency across the organisation.

You will also play an important role in guiding a team, reviewing internal processes, and supporting projects that strengthen governance and resource management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a small team to achieve operational and organisational objectives.
  • Oversee corporate support functions such as administration, planning, and business operations.
  • Review existing workflows and recommend improvements for greater effectiveness.
  • Coordinate budgets, resources, and project timelines to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Partner with stakeholders across departments to provide advice and support on operational matters.
  • Manage external service providers and ensure performance standards are met.
  • Support workplace planning and the optimal use of shared resources.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in administration, operations, or corporate services.
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to manage teams and engage stakeholders.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Good to have: Experience in policy review, process improvement, or vendor/contract management.
