Job description

Collaborate with internal centres of excellence and shared services teams to ensure accurate and timely monthly financial closing processes in line with organisational requirements.

Address statutory reporting and audit requirements, ensuring financial statements comply with the latest IFRS standards.

Manage key operational finance processes, including:

• Purchase requisitions and orders – oversee the end-to-end process to support smooth procurement operations.

• Fixed asset management – lead and execute asset verification exercises, maintain accurate asset registers, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with asset custodians, providing guidance on proper asset management and accountability.

• Monitor and review asset movements, disposals, and impairments to support accurate financial reporting.

Oversee operational expenditure management, including the review and validation of payables and accruals.

Review, analyze, and interpret financial data to support reporting and decision-making.

Support the implementation of new processes and systems as required.

Promote a strong culture of corporate governance by collaborating with internal and external auditors and resolving audit matters promptly.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience.

• Experience in the healthcare sector or familiarity with SAP is an added advantage.
