Job summary

Equinix, a leading digital infrastructure company, seeks a software engineer to design, deploy, and troubleshoot diverse software solutions. You will work with business and product teams to influence requirements and integrate with various systems, closely aligning with architecture and networking teams to validate designs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience with Golang.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience developing APIs or service integrations using REST or gRPC.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts; ISIS/BGP exposure is a plus.
• Proficient in CI/CD: Github Actions, ArgoCD.
• Experience with Agile development: JIRA, Git, CI/CD.
• Nice to have: Java with Spring, JPA/Hibernate, MQ & microservices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development, testing, and operation of reliable services and software to model network entities and relationships.
• Contribute to APIs and services exposing data from the unified network model for customer-facing and operational uses.
• Collaborate across teams to align software requirements and design trade-offs focusing on performance and scalability.
• Adhere to development and operational best practices and standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation when production is active.
