Job Description
The candidate will be primarily responsible for managing all function of operations, including the warehousing and logistics, procurement and sourcing, stock receiving, quarantine, issue and disposition of production materials, biological samples, and finished products. He/she will also serve as the primary liaison between SCG Cell Therapy and our vendors.
Core responsibilities
1. Procurement and Sourcing
- Support direct and indirect purchasing activities including raising purchase requisitions in SAP and sending to Vendors.
- Source quotations for reagents, consumables and services according to site or project requirements and specifications
- Ensure procurement operations and workflows comply with regulatory, safety, and site quality requirements
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of reagents and consumables.
- Manage the contracts and schedule of vendors providing maintenance, cleaning, calibration and other upkeep related services
- Participate in vendor evaluations and supplier quality audits, as required
2. Material management and Warehousing:
- Support material & supplier qualification process and ensure material management is in compliance with the SOP/ GMP guideline.
- Perform incoming material inspection, ensuring the GMP materials are received, labels are pasted according to material disposition in a timely manner; and materials are put-away in the correct locations.
- Manage inventory and coordinate materials release for the production runs.
- Manage demand and perform replenishment of reagents/consumables according to the agreeable safety stock level/re-order point.
- Perform monthly stock count and manage stock reconciliation.
- To support GMP documentation requirements including writing SOPs, CAPAs, deviations, change controls and etc.
3. Handling of Biological Samples and Finished Products
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper receipt, storage, and handling of biological samples and starting cell material.
- Facilitate timely release and distribution of finished products in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors to arrange logistics, track and document the movement of biological samples and finished products, ensuring traceability and adherence to SOPs.
4. Liaise with various departments on the resolution of the purchasing and the logistics issues.
5. Any other job as assigned by the manager.
Role requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma or above certification.
- At least 3 years of experience in an ISO 13485 or GMP warehousing environment
- Familiarity with PIC/S GMP and HSA CTGTP guidelines a plus
- Experience with SAP Netsuite ERP software strongly preferred
- Experience with vendor management, supplier quality audits and supplier quality actions will be advantageous
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English (advantageous).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Able to work both independently and as an effective team member.
