Who We Are Looking For

A proven sales professional to be part of a regional sales team, with the primary responsibility of generating new business and managing existing client relationships and revenue retention efforts for the GlobalLink suite of products, including FX Connect, BestX, Trade Nexus, and Currenex. The role holder will have comprehensive knowledge of the sales process, including opportunity spotting, qualifying leads, client presentations and pitches, understanding of commercial and legal frameworks, running workshops, leveraging firm-wide contact points and institutional relationships, building credibility through thought leadership and market presence, and demonstrating an understanding of client challenges and operating paradigms.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  1. Managing assigned Currenex, FX Connect, Trade Nexus, and other GL products.
  2. Ensuring profitability and retention of clients.
  3. Driving client service initiatives within the GLFX team and liaising globally to increase market share.
  4. Developing, growing, expanding, and retaining Currenex and FX Connect sell-side clients in Japan to meet revenue targets.
  5. Overseeing client onboarding, technical implementation, servicing, relationship reviews, and capturing enhancement requests.
  6. Collaborating with the GLFX team to address operational matters and ensure high client satisfaction.
  7. Operating in compliance with regulations and following escalation procedures, maintaining risk excellence.
What We Value

Skills essential for success include:

  • An undergraduate degree or relevant professional qualification, with 5+ years experience in trading technology or related markets; FX or money markets experience is a plus.
  • A proven track record in business development, relationship management, and client service.
  • Knowledge of electronic trading products.
  • Strong initiative in building client relationships and resolving issues.
  • Customer service orientation and awareness of procedures, best practices, and conduct codes.
  • High ethical standards.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of foreign exchange technology experience, preferably selling bank execution tools or white-label solutions.
  • Understanding of the eFX marketplace, including pricing, execution, STP, and product distribution.
  • Knowledge of buy-side and sell-side front, middle, and back-office workflows.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite.
