Job summary

Wave Marine Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled engineer to perform calibration and service on vessel automation systems and related equipment. The role covers calibration of gas detectors, pressure and temperature transmitters, and boiler/automation systems.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma in electronics/electrical engineering with at least 5 years of experience in vessel main engine automation and related fields. Travel worldwide is required, and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

Diploma in electronics/electrical engineering or relevant field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in vessel main engine automation or related area.
Hands-on with equipment or systems; strong electrical knowledge.
Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Willing to travel worldwide for support activities.
Team-oriented, self-motivated and independent.

Responsibilities

Handle calibration service for portable/fixed gas detectors and other instruments.
Calibrate pressure, temperature, and related transmitters and systems.
Perform boiler, valve, and automation system calibrations and overhauls.
Provide mechanical and electrical calibration for shipboard equipment.
Carry out maintenance/repair and load testing for cranes and hydraulic systems.
Inspect and service hatch covers, windlasses, and mooring components.
Support engine room automation and remote/pneumatic control systems.
Travel as required to support worldwide customers.
