Job summary

OCBC Bank seeks a Non-Bank Financial Institutions Intern to support regional market research, competitive analysis, and strategic business initiatives across Asia. You will collaborate with experienced bankers to analyse opportunities and prepare insights for leadership discussions.

You'll develop analytical, critical thinking, and commercial evaluation skills while gaining exposure to banking solutions for financial institution clients in Singapore and the region.

Responsibilities

• Sector Research: conduct regional market research and industry analysis across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong on NBFI.
• Market Mapping: identify key market participants, industry trends, and opportunities.
• Opportunity Analysis: wallet sizing, banking opportunity analysis, and benchmarking.
• Strategic Insights: identify market gaps and priorities to support objectives.
• Management Presentations: prepare concise, management-ready materials.
• Business Planning Support: contribute research for strategic initiatives and client engagement.
• Ad-hoc Projects: support research and analytical assignments as required.
