Job summary

Point72 is seeking an Operations professional to support end-to-end trade lifecycle management across global markets. Responsibilities include trade confirmation, settlements, reconciliations, and corporate actions processing, with a focus on reducing risk and improving efficiency.

The role requires 0–1 year in middle office or trade support, strong Excel/SQL skills, Bloomberg familiarity, and the ability to collaborate across traders and external counterparties during Asian and European hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Maths).
• 0–1 year of in-middle office/ trade support experience.
• Experience handling trade confirmation, settlement, reconciliation and exception resolution across asset classes.
• Experience processing corporate actions (mandatory and voluntary).
• Excel advanced formulas, pivot tables; macros or scripting; SQL data analysis.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and trade confirmation/settlement workflows.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with traders and external counterparties.
• Able to multi-task and work across Asian/European hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end trade lifecycle management across global markets and products.
• Reconcile daily positions and cash across counterparties; resolve breaks.
• Partner with traders, PMs, brokers to resolve lifecycle issues.
• Manage end-to-end corporate actions processing and elections.
• Design and implement automation and workflow improvements with technology teams.
• Execute and monitor FX transactions to manage currency exposure.
• Maintain security master and reference data across trading hours.
• Produce daily exception reports and operational metrics for stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional projects to improve settlement efficiency and risk monitoring.
• Create and maintain process documentation and drive learning.
