Job summary

Wise is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Manager for the technology risk portfolio with a global remit to join our growing IA team. Your main task will be to coordinate the internal audit process within the company and externally with partnering firms, and to develop and deliver data-driven audit engagements in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires deep experience in assurance, risk or control, particularly IT controls in cloud platforms, and the ability to lead cross-regional audits

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert in technology risk, control or assurance, esp. on cloud platforms.
• Experience in technology, fintech or financial services sectors.
• Oversee planning, staffing, delivery and reporting of multiple audits.
• Independent, takes ownership and strong judgement.
• Identify opportunities to use analytics and automation to drive improvements.
• Able to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Strong coordination and accountability across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal audit framework and continuous monitoring initiatives.
• Develop IT audit plan, audit universe, risk assessment and budgeting processes focusing on data and automation.
• Deliver audits in line with the plan, using analytics to inform findings.
• Build and lead a self-sufficient IT IA team.
• Track and verify implementation of audit recommendations across teams.
• Coordinate information for internal and external reporting as needed.
• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
• Travel as required to meet objectives.
