Job summary

Genesis Partners seeks a Global Head of Sustainability to lead strategy and drive sustainable practices across life sciences and chemicals operations. You will shape policy, manage reporting, and foster cross‑functional collaboration to integrate sustainability into core decisions.

The role requires 12–15+ years in sustainability, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering impact within multinational settings. A competitive package and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemistry, or related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact of operations, products, and supply chains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into business processes.
• Ensure compliance with local, national and international environmental regulations and standards; prepare sustainability reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze sustainability trends, policies, and best practices.
• Foster relationships with government agencies, NGOs, and industry groups to promote sustainability.
• Educate employees and promote participation in sustainability programs.
• Establish KPIs to measure effectiveness of initiatives and report progress.
• Drive R&D of sustainable products and circular economy initiatives.
