A leading company in security operations seeks a candidate for incident management and supervisory oversight in their Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC). This role involves remote and on-site support, systems monitoring, and ensuring effective incident responses. Job Summary
Primary Responsibility:
Provide remote incident management support and supervisory oversight at Centurion’s sites globally
Ensure serviceability and accountability of all Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) equipment and systems
Secondary Responsibility:
Provide on-site support as and when required i.e. special events, incidents and critical shortfalls.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Monitor and ensure all systems in the GSOC are in working order
Conduct video surveillance and alarm monitoring on all assets
Provide interface between individual sites and GS management during incidents and crises
Respond to and escalate incidents in accordance to policies and procedures
Provide constant information updates whenever applicable, and ensure timely response and effective management of alarms, incidents and crises
Operate GSOC systems
Disseminate directives and liaise with site security personnel
Prepare daily and periodic returns and reports
Perform periodic supervisory checks or red teaming exercises
Assist to support site security teams during special events, VIP visits and critical shortfalls
Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned
Job Requirements
GCE ‘O’ levels (Candidates who do not meet this academic qualification but have extensive experience will be considered)
Preferably with prior experience in command centre/control room operations
Must possess a valid Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) Security License
Must have passed or exempted from the required Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) modules under the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) framework and minimally certified as a PWM Senior Security Officer
Able to work 12-hours rotating shifts
Able to multi-task
Good written and communication skills
Familiar with Microsoft office applications
Good IT literacy
First Aid & AED trained
Possess with own transport
