J.P. Morgan is seeking a Global Security Solutions Specialist (Asia-Pacific) to join the Global Security Operations Center. You will enable operational resilience, work with security partners, and leverage advanced technology and data platforms to protect people and assets across Asia-Pacific.

You will help stay ahead of emerging risks, drive continuous improvement in security operations, and mentor teammates in platforms, processes, and best practices in a dynamic, mission‑driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher in a GIS, data science, security or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in GIS, geomatics, data management, security operations or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of security developments across Asia-Pacific.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, including MS Office.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support crisis management by drafting incident reports and triaging risks.
  • Maintain dashboards, geospatial layers, and intelligence data for decision-making.
  • Oversee the GSOC systems lifecycle, including implementation and enhancements.
  • Mentor teammates and maintain SOPs and knowledge resources.
  • Plan and execute small to medium projects and demonstrate solutions.
  • Monitor emerging security technologies and advise on new solutions.
  • Collaborate with regional teams, vendors, and resilience partners to support operations.

As a Global Security Solutions Specialist (Asia-Pacific) within the Global Security Operations Center team, you help enable operational resilience and support crisis management. You will work closely with security partners to help ensure the safety of our people and assets by leveraging advanced technology and data platforms. You will help us stay ahead of emerging risks and drive continuous improvement in security operations. You'll thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment where your work supports real-time decision-making. You will contribute to a culture of learning, partnership, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities
  • GSOC Operational Mastery & Crisis Management: Support crisis management efforts by drafting security incident reports, triaging risks, and supporting business continuity, including travel security operations and incident assistance for international travelers
  • Data, Geospatial & Security Intelligence: Maintain and enhance dashboards, geospatial layers, and intelligence data to support operational decision-making, ensuring data quality and accessibility for reporting, analytics, and situational awareness
  • GSOC Technology Oversight & Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of Asia-Pacific Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) systems and tools, including implementation, integration, stabilization, and enhancement, ensuring optimal deployment and performance of critical tools and systems such as geospatial platforms and operational resiliency hardware solutions
  • Training, Upskilling & Enablement: Mentor and train team members on platforms, processes, and operational best practices, maintaining documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge management resources
  • Project Management & Technical Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and execute small to medium-scale projects, tracking milestones, risks, and deliverables, and integrating solutions into stakeholder use cases through technical demonstrations
  • Subject‑Matter Awareness & Innovation: Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in security operations, evaluating new solutions to strengthen security operations capabilities
  • Global Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with operations, technology teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders, coordinating with other regional security operations centers and resiliency partners to support crisis management and operational needs
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or post-graduate qualification in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Geospatial Information Systems, Geomatics, Geography, Database Management, System Architecture, Project Management, or Security Studies
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geomatics, enterprise data management, system analysis or architecture, corporate security operations, security intelligence, emergency response, incident or crisis management, or technology integration
  • Strong knowledge and interest in security and geopolitical developments across Asia-Pacific
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment, consistently producing accurate work and meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication, collaboration, project management, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in Geospatial Technologies, Geomatics, System and Data Architecture, ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, Engineering, Critical Infrastructure, Project and Process Management, Python, JavaScript, or Project Management (e.g., PMP), as well as professional certifications such as CPP, CISM, intelligence analysis, or operational resilience
  • Experience with enterprise crisis communications platforms and operational resiliency hardware solutions (e.g., satellite networks, data redundancy systems)
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and training team members on technical platforms and operational best practices
  • Experience delivering technical demonstrations and integrating solutions for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Published work or recognized expertise in Asia‑Pacific geopolitical risk analysis
  • Experience working in a global or regional security operations center
