As we expand globally, we seek a Global Retail Development Director to lead the vision, execution, and evolution of PAÑPURI’s physical retail presence. This role plays a pivotal part in connecting brand strategy with physical space—translating PAÑPURI’s philosophy into experiential retail environments that deliver impact and presence.


Job Overview

The Global Retail Development Director leads the strategic evolution of PAÑPURI’s global retail presence—translating brand philosophy into immersive physical environments that elevate guest experience, reinforce brand equity, and drive commercial impact.


This role oversees three core pillars: Retail Design & Visual Merchandising, International Retail Real Estate & Project Management, and Retail Experience Development & Training. Working cross-functionally with brand, operations, and international teams, this role ensures each PAÑPURI space—boutique, spa, or travel retail—is a sanctuary of sensorial discovery and mindful expression.


Key Responsibilities
1. Retail Design, Visual Merchandising & Activation
  • Lead the strategic direction of global retail design to reflect PAÑPURI’s visual identity and brand values.
  • Oversee retail concepts, seasonal VM guidelines, in-store storytelling, and activation programs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal creative, product, and merchandising teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
2. Retail Project Management & Expansion
  • Direct new store development, including site evaluation, architectural planning, and execution oversight.
  • Lead project timelines, budgeting, and contractor management across global markets.
  • Partner with real estate and country teams on feasibility studies, lease approvals, and rollout plans.

3. Guest Experience & Retail Training

  • Supervise the design and deployment of immersive in-store guest experiences aligned with brand rituals.
  • Oversee training experience content in collaboration with the Retail Training Manager.
  • Define signature touchpoints and rituals to elevate guest satisfaction and brand affinity.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in global retail development, architecture, or luxury design management.
  • Proven leadership in overseeing retail projects across international markets and formats.
  • Strong understanding of spatial design, customer experience, and operational feasibility.
  • Excellent project management, budgeting, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong design sensibility.
  • Calm, collaborative, and execution-focused.
  • Able to synthesize brand storytelling into space, experience, and service.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
