Job summary

XP Power Limited is seeking a Global Head of Quality to define and lead enterprise-wide quality systems, establishing a consistent global framework across design, manufacturing and supply chain. The role strengthens customer confidence and embeds prevention, disciplined problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations or related discipline; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Senior quality leadership experience in international manufacturing, ideally electronics/power, regulated environment.
• Proven success deploying global quality strategy across sites/regions.
• Deep knowledge of QMS, ISO standards, audit/regulatory compliance, supplier quality, NPI and product lifecycle quality.
• Strong quality improvement methods (APQP, FMEA, control plans, SPC, 8D, root-cause, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Ability to lead major customer escalations, improve supplier/manufacturing performance, reduce defects and cost of poor quality.
• Commercially astute, data-driven, translate quality risks into business decisions.
• Leadership across cultures and functions; effective with executives and customers.
• Global team-building, talent development, and organizational change.
• Fluent English; able to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global quality strategy, governance model and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead and develop the global Quality organisation across regions and sites.
• Own the global Quality Management System deployment across product lifecycle processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and industry ISO standards.
• Establish global quality objectives, metrics and governance routines for executives.
• Drive prevention-focused quality culture with structured problem solving and SPC.
• Embed quality throughout product lifecycle with engineering, operations and supply chain.
• Lead governance of major customer quality issues and field concerns, with robust CAPA.
• Strengthen supplier quality strategy with Supply Chain partners.
• Sponsor global improvements to reduce cost of poor quality and improve yield.
• Maintain global audit/compliance program and share best practices.
• Act as senior quality representative to customers, regulators and external bodies.
