Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Global Product Security Manager (Medical) to partner with product teams, integrating cybersecurity and privacy into the lifecycle. The role leads risk assessments, secure design reviews, and vulnerability management to support timely releases and market acceptance.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Global Product Security, the on-site position in Singapore focuses on collaboration with international teams and adherence to HIPAA, FDA, GDPR

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in STEM, or equivalent.
• Familiar with modern software development on different platforms.
• Experience in product security development: threat modeling, risk assessment, vulnerability scanning, security testing.
• Direct experience in regulated security/privacy environments (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR); medical device sector preferred.
• Strong written/spoken English and ability to work with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Refine and train on product security processes and tool integrations.
• Plan, approve secure designs with threat models, risk assessments, and security testing.

The Global Product Security Manager (Medical) is responsible for partnering with medical product development teams to integrate cybersecurity and privacy requirements throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory expectations. The role provides security leadership through risk assessments, secure design reviews, vulnerability management, stakeholder guidance, and continuous improvement of product security processes to support timely product releases and market acceptance.

This position reports to the Senior Manager Global Product Security and is part of the Global Product Security team located in Singapore (15 Tukang Innovation Drive, Singapore 618299) and will be an on-site role.

Global Product Security Manager (Medical)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise and inform internal stakeholders on cybersecurity standards, best practices, discovered issues, and maturity progress especially with respect to the medical device industry.
• Review, refine, and provide training on product security processes and security tool integrations.
• Partner with product development teams in planning for, and approving secure designs with threat models, risk assessments, and security testing.
• Continuously monitor for, coordinate response to, and manage discovered vulnerabilities within medical product portfolio and their components.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), or equivalent.
• Familiar with methods and tools of modern software development on different platforms
• Long-Term-Experience in, and affinity for, product security development including threat modeling, risk assessment, vulnerability scanning, and security testing.
• Direct experience working in a regulated security and privacy environment (e.g., under HIPAA, FDA, GDPR); experience working in medical device industry preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to work with international teams.
